Folks, I am in the process of buying a cab from this place called Rust Free Auto Parts, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
They also have a storage yard in Texas, where, I don't know.
They will bring my cab to Florida, (may be Atlanta, GA)from Texas, they would like to bring a whole trailer load of Rust Free stuff, and drop off along the way to make their trip worthwhile, so if anyone needs anything call LARRY (and tell him I sent you,"Rick" with the Supercab)and see what he has, may be we can all work together and get transportation for next to nothing.
Please understand I do not work for these folks, and have not as of right now seen the cab that they are wanting to sell me, so I really can't vouch for their products or service.

Guys, I spoke with Larry today at length, mostly about "my" cab, I inquired about other cabs, front clips, doors, but forgot about tailgates, he has mostly everything for '73-'79 but he says BEDS go very fast, espessely short beds, he says he also has "some" '67-'72 stuff, though not as much as '73-'79, AND even some '66 back stuff.
What I am going to try & do is put an order together and make a run out there & pick up "my" cab, as well as stuff for you folks, and work out dropping it off to you on my way back, I am not wanting to make a killing on transportation of your parts, just want to pay my expenses out & back, I'm going to suggest that they advertise on our website as well.

Guys, First off these are not my parts, and I know nothing about any given parts condition, including "my" cab, that is supoest to be nice & rust free, I am having a hard time getting them to send me pictures of the cab, they want $1200.00 for a complete SUPERCAB, with good doors, please guys, call "Larry" or "Rick" out there and inquire about parts availability and condition, and cost, all I really want to do is haul your parts back for you to pay for my expenses.
States that are do-able are: Texas,Louisiana,Mississippi, Alabama,Florida, and Georgia, provided you could meet me so I wouldn't have to off track too much.
I'll bet if we all get together that we could buy our parts a little cheaper, and then the transportation would not hurt any of us too much.

Weren't you asking about a place in the 209 area code a few weeks back?
I'm guessing that deal didn't work out? Just wondering how much they were asking for the cab and shipping. Is there a reason your not buying from them?
