I'm looking for a new or used radiator for a '79 F-150 2WD, manual tranny with a 302. The core size is 18X24", with no AC.
Any ideas where to get one would be helpful.
Thanks in advance

Hey. I just got my LMC Truck catalog, they have many for sale in there, yours should be part #43-3010, listed as 302 F-SERIES 73-79, $179.95. Size listed, 19-1/4" H x 26-3/8" W x 1-7/8" D. I haven't read about shipping yet. I would assume these are factory equal replacements, nothing super honkin' or anything. They seemed reasonable, I have been pricing a new rad for my 79' as well. Also, the catalog is free, mine was here in less than a week. Try www.lmctruck.com Hope this helps. Blair
Where are you located? I have a recore rad from a 79 300 with a manual trans, used to move the truck about 50 miles. Tried to sell it and had no takers. I can measure it up to see if it is what you want. I'm in Southern Ontario Canada.
Ha, I'm located in northern virginia. The core size to my radiator is 18X24 inches. I think the 300 6's had different core sizes, but not sure.

Hey Wrenchhead84, there is a machine shop in Fredricksburg, VA that does rad work and sells new ones on order. I forget pricing, name is P&T Machine shop, # 540-373-6741. I took my first one down there, couldn't save it, found the one I have now over in Winchester for $50 in the want ads, but it is now leaking, wanted to have it "rodded out?" Did you check LMC yet? I don't know much, but seems like a good deal. Blair (We live in Culpeper)
78bigunns, I'm in fauquier county. I've found there is a good radiator shop in Manassas. I've also been looking at some new radiators online at radiatorbarn.com. They might have what I need.
