Ext. Temp 50 Degrees all the time

Ext. Temp 50 Degrees all the time
I noticed my Exterior Temperatue on my Auto climate control today stayed at 50 Degrees. It has worked in the past until this morning. I started my truck up and noticed that it was at 50, i thought ok maybe it will go up, But all day it continued to stay at 50. On my way home, 6 hours later, the temperature went up to 55 then back to 50. Does anyone know why this is happenining? It was in the 80's today so it is definetly incorrect. Thanks in advance

yea, its quite odd, it goes up 5 degrees then it goes back down, i recently installed a cd/dvd/navi system in my truck, but i dont think that would cause that unless i screwed up a wire, but then again it wouldnt work if that happened, im rather confused.
