5.0 V8 idle too low
Recently when the outside temperature is 50-65 degrees, the engine idle is below 500 RPM on my 98 Explorer, 5.0 V8. When it is colder or warmer it is OK. This occurred on two occasions, the check engine light came on today and stayed on after shutting off and restarting.
Any suggestions???
