looking at buying a pre/post luber . the kit has a t-fitting at the oil pan drain plug ,a hose hooks on there and goes to the pump ,a hose comes out of the pump and i don't know where to go back into the engine, maybe the sending unit , the dealer of the unit said that there is a test port where i could enter back into the engine but i can't find either one. need help pictures???? anyone else running a preluber? thanks
I looked a long time ago but did not save any of the information. If I remember right they were some problems with the pump, some of the others may be able to verify this. The pump was noisy and if the pump was mounted higher than the motor the seal would leak down onto the motor. If it is not piped in correctly you bypass the oil filter when it is running. It sounds good but they still had a few bugs to work out a year or so ago. Let us know what you find out.
