I just got one from ebay from bzx auto. They have a website as well. I looked at Putco and they have a couple that I really like. My main thing is I wanted the Ford emblen on the front. Check out my gallery, I just added a pick of it. Bolts right over the factory gtrill and only took about 15 minutes. 3 peices set for $100.
I like the large oval and the grill. I considered that one but ran across the other for for a little less $$$. The lights look great too, how well do they work (regular lights) and where did you get them
I honestly have to say that they look better than they work. The headlights you have are actually the best ones out there. I got mine on eBay. They are the APC Projector Beam headlights. I bought them because a rock on the highway took out one of my headlights at 105mph and I needed a replacement ASAP. If I had it to do over again, I would of bought a set of the crystal lenses like yours. The quality of construction of the APC's is far below standard. I think the main improvement to my lighting was when I rewired the headlights with 12Ga. off relays from the battery. Oh well, at least they look cool. lol
Black trucks take a little extra to set them apart from the others, but they look the best, hands down don't you think?
Well at least it looks good. My truck is actually DK. Green, but my last two were blackCame real close to a Black CC but was outbid. Love em when they are clean but hated to keep them clean. Thanks for the input on the lights as well.
Here's mine, easy installation and great fit. Best thing is that they are stainless steel so they hold up very well to the elements. I've had mine since 1999 when I had my first Super Duty and it still looks like it did the day I bought it.
Putco has very nice products. High quality. You should check out T-Rex as well. Great stuff, good prices. In either case purchase direct from them and avoid any markups.
Mine is all stainless stell as well. I like PUTCO product (and almost did buy it) just did not want to spend the extra $$. Stumbled across the one on eBay one night when I was bored and saw the one I now have. Seems to be the same quality just a little differnet design. I like it but if you have the extra $$ to splurge I would choose the PUTCO design.
