I have a JD2 and model 3 and love it. The 4 is about the cheapest you will find for bending the material you describe. For your application you may consider buying prebent 90's and 180's, then cut to degree needed for your project, it will be cheaper. As an alternative to Greenlee pumps, don't forget OTC/SPX we have one at work that we abuse on a regular basis, and have no issues with it.

yeah i think im just going to have it done. i was just doing a roll cage for a samurai which i can buy the bends for and weld them in. and some bumpers for myself and a few friends. ill have to save to get a decent bender. thanks for all your answers though. i think i have found the best website on the net. i have to get wireless so i can just put my computer in the garage and type when i have a question. lol. anybody around the missoula area of montana that knows of a good place to get prebent tubing and or somwhere that does the bends to your spec. or maybe on the net even? thanks again for all your help.
