im looking........
hey everybody! was wondering if anyone in the northwest could help me find a bed for a 78 f-250 4x4 with dual tanks and square doors. im almost desperate to get one in good shape hopefully no rust and very minor dents. can anyone help me with this. im stationed in germany in the army and im sick of searching the internet and only finding beds for 900 dollars and more. any help is appreciated. thanks

Sorry Adam, those beds are not real plentiful . The ones from the western US are the best, no salted roads, less rust, if you can find one. But it will not be cheap. . The junkyards are a good place to look, but in my state are crushing the 70's trucks, something about the epa pushing them to get the older vehicles gone. There are still some 70's driving around that are for sale cheap ( 500-800 bucks) , but the pu bed is usually the worst part on them. I was looking at one on ebay like you want about a month ago, didnt last long. Went for a grand if I recall. good luck on your search
