Chrome removal

Anyone ever removed the Chrome along the length of the truck with out damaging it?

It can be moved farward or backward, not sure which one and the little clips pop off.
I've only been sussesfull doing this with one peice all the others I had to pop straight off. They aren't the easiest things to get off, but take your time and try not to scratch the paint or flex the chrome peice too much, and pry them off.

I got mine off easily with out damage. just take your time and make sure you get all those nuts off the inside.

getting ALL those nuts off the backside of the trim can be tricky. some of them are easier to feel for than see, and many of mine were rusted on solid.
