4 way flashers not working

4 way flashers not working
Hi on my 98 explorer 4.0 sh auto trans i found the 4 way flashers not working.. wich fuse? wheres the flasher its self? my turn sigs both work on frount and rear so i assume it in the 4 ways flasher system..

According to the wiring diagram on the autozone site it's fuse # 21, a 15 amp fuse. (diagram here: http://www.autozone.com/images/cds/g...3d800ba9ee.gif) I'm not sure where your 4-way flasher is, but it's probably somewhere under your dash. It may very well be in the fuse panel. If you don't have an owners manual to find what fuses go where, etc., you can download one from here; http://www.genuineflmservice.com/default.asp?page=E4

Theres only one flasher for turn & four ways. Since the turn sigs work, the flasher is OK.
Like Jerry sez check the fuse, if it's good, check for voltage at the multifunction switch from the flasher fuse. If it's there replace the multi switch.
