4 way flasher location

I'm trying to troubleshoot my 4 way hazard flasher. All lights work but the hazards.

Where is the 4 way flasher located? I found the turn signal flasher but can't find the one for the hazards.

Thanks,

Jim

The flasher fuse is a round fuse either under the dash or under the hood.

Well I found it last night. I took the fuse box off and turned it over and that is where it was supposed to be.

Because it was missing it was pretty difficult to determine if it even went back there. But I found a spot that had what appeared to be the two prong inserts that are at a 90 deg angle. It is directly opposite of the turn signal flasher.

Thanks for the help

THere is no "second" flasher unit for the hazards....Turn and hazard use the same flasher unit. What you see on the back of the fuse panel is nothing more than the back side of where the flasher unit plugs in on the front. I have the wiring diagram on my system for your truck....if you want I can send em to you. If you post your email address in here using the @ symbol, the forum admin will remove the address from the post. So you will need to get creative. Let me know.

Doesn't matter what that says mine will not work without it. My owners manual says it exsists.

Guess they made some electrical changes then from 84 to 85. Maybe I should just pitch my manuals then.
Hope you figure it out
