Ok, here's my situation. I yanked out the standard Ford stereo and replaced it with a Kenwood. As most of you know, the only clock in the truck is integrated into the stereo. I can display the clock on the Kenwood but I have much better uses for that display space. Does anyone know of a way to get a clock in my truck that looks good? I thought about just getting a small digital and using velcro to mount it but I'm afraid it will look crappy. Isn't there a clock that I can plug into cigarette lighter like a cell phone charger? I did a google search and came up empty. I have an 05 Lariat Screw with a center console.
simpliest thing I know is buy a cheap own and attach it to the back side of the visor. It's out of sight so it's not an eye sore but it's out of sight and how helpful is a clock that's out of sight? As long as ya don't mind fliping the visor down to read it your fine.
I can't tell by your profile whether you have a 4x2 or 4x4 and if 4x4 whether it has the ESOF. If 4x2 or MSOF find a clock that will fit in the coin holder where the ESOF would be. That way you don't lose you cigar lighter. I know others have put gauges in this spot, and it may already have a power line.
Hi,
Maybe try an online motorcycle accessory site. I've seen some nice little clocks that stick on for bikes and your know if it's for a bike it's gotta be cool, right?? Try www.denniskirk.com as one possibility.
I thought that's where I saw some, $25 maybe. Good luck.
As Kingfish was saying...if you have a 4x2 or MSOF then you can remove that wonderfully engineered and useful coin holder to the left of the Climate control consol and insert a clock in that space.
THere are a few clocks from AutoMeter that will fit the space withvery little modification if any...you will need the 2 1/16" guage size
http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugede...earch&gid=2924 hey tony check out this one from autometer I also have a larait and would get up and go look but I just had surgery and its hard to get around . this if memory serves me would probably fit pretty well
Before ya commit to that location look at it while driving. For me that spot is directly behind the shifter when in drive. I cant see my 4wd switch at all. Alot of factors though, seat position, driver size etc.

just me .02 that's all I can afford now
I agree that the position would be bad for a guage that you really need to keep and eye, but for a clock that you may look at once an hour. To me it would not be a big deal to have to move my head a little. Also, in that spot, you are not losing anything that may be useful, like a cigar lighter, etc.
