Am I this dumb, or has it happened to anyone else?
Washed my 150 yesterday morn. then took a quick trip to home depot then to wally world. About 15 miles total. When I went to leave my parking space at wal-mart my truck wouldn't hardly move (had the wheels turned and it was binding up on the pavement). I then realized that my 4x4 was engaged into 4low!!!!. The best I can figure is I fliped the switch while cleaning the dash and never noticed it and I must have not have stopped long enough for low range to enguage until I went to leave wal-mart! low range could not have been enguaged earlier because most of my trip was on interstate 95 doing 60mph.
I really feel dumb for not noticing the light earlier but I had noticed that something didn't feel right. This happened once before but I never left the driveway that time.
Apparently I need to pay attention to the switch when I clean the dash.
Am I the only one or has this happened to anyone else.
The only other explination is that since I left the windows open and the door unlocked someone could have reached inside and filpped the switch to be mean, but honestly I think my chanches of winning the lottery would be greater than this senerio
Happens to me all the time at the car wash I use. The newer 4x switches seem to turn very easly, almost without even feeling it. The pre 04 trucks used a 4x switch that you could feel clicks when turned and was a little harder to turn.
