OK let me start from the beginning... THERE I WAS THIGH DEEP IN ...... Well three weeks ago I put a 94 351 roller motor in my 93 F350 4x4. The motor was installed and all was almost well. I put windsor jr heads on it and a mild 4x4 roller cam. My expectations were high. Or maybe I was high to think I would get a noticeable difference in HP and TQ... Well my old 200000 mile motor with a burnt valve had more get up and go. So I was told I needed to do a mass air conversion ( VERY SIMPLE).. Well Befor the conversion I drove the truck to Olympia and back ... About a 650 mile round trip. I filled the truck up before I left and off we went. Coming down the pass my truck lost all sorts of power so I SUggested to my wife "BAD GAS" no not me the truck. So I puttered my way home to Reardan. I desided it was a fuel problem. I put new fuel in and no change. Checked for vaccume leaks, found non... Fuel pressure is at 40 psion the rail. Changed cap and rotor and wires.. Nope that wasnt it. So yesterday I did my mass air conversion. All was well for the most part. I ran the truck in the yard for about 20 minutes and then changed the oil. I started the truck back up and then more problems. It blows smoke out the exaust. It wont idle, so I opened the throtle with the adjustment screw... Kept it running and then unhooked my pcv and plugged it. So then I went for a drive. No more smoke. It idles poorly and has no power when I step on the gas. I sounds like it wants to go but it dont. So if there is anyone out there that has made it to the bottom of my delema.. Whats wrong with my TRUCK. I need it fior work tomarrow
