power steering ???????
PSYCHO 1977 F-250 4x4 race truck,PSYCHO2 19771/2 F-250 4x4 472cid and goodies to go with it!!!,1987 Mustang GT 5.0HO SNAKEY2. I have a buddy thats got a 1977 f-250 with power steering leaking all over from the ram assist and drag link assist that 4 lines going into it and he would like to convert over to the newer style like the 78's or 79's is this possiable or what are your suggestions? Thanks for any advice.

Yes---they will work----But , you're putting old , used , parts on an old used truck---if you are going to all the trouble to do the conversion it would make sense , in my mind at least , to spend the 1K $$ or so to put quality parts back on the truck.........On the other hand , if it is a low budget project then AND you already have the donor truck , well , thats the way to go........But , if you are going to spend$$$ money to buy a donor truck , then you would be better off to spend that money on new parts!!!!!a different point of view---have fun , fd
