Anybody else notice the lack of a pinch bolt in the steering intermediate shaft at the steering box? (The picture with the up-close header/steering shaft.)
And how about those lift blocks. I think we need a sticky at the top of the forum list with a few FAQ about lift blocks and how NOT to do them. The sticky should include a picture of this truck.
Call me ignorant, but when I was in the Army actually DRIVING th 5-ton trucks (that have THOSE axles) the gear ratio was like 5.6X something IIRC. I concur, fishy......something's fishy.
I'd still like to have a set of those axles......put 'em in my Oldsmobile or something.

i THINK i remember that the 2.5 rockies had like 6.52 gearing but i dunno. still even with all the gearing thats a LOT of weight for a 460 to push around
