'97 Exp. Hazard Lights don't work
I just got a used '97 Expedition with 140k miles. For some reason the hazard lights won't work. The left and right turn signals work on their own (as do the trailer’s turn signals,) but nothing happens when I push the hazard light button on the steering column. My first suspicion was a blows fuse, but I can't find a fuse in the user's manual that mentions the hazard lights. There was one (fuse # 23 in the interior panel next to the hood release) that mentioned the "Electronic Flasher," but it has not blown (I even tested it with an ohm meter.)
Anyone know which fuse might have been blown? If not, is there anything else that could cause the problem (i.e. a bad switch?)<O

A bad flasher maybe? Im not sure witch fues it could be, but I would just check them all. just use a multimer, and check for contenuity (spelling?) between the two little parts of metal showing on the outside of the fuse. that way you dont have to pull each one out. or you could use a test light. and touch each metal part one by one with the ingnition on. if you dont get a light that would indicate a blown fuse (of course make sure the test light is hooked to a good ground).
