superchips tuner

I have a 96 F-150 with the 5.8L and was just curious if the superchips power programmer is worth the money and if i need to know a lot about timing and shift points to change all this safely?

No, you don't need to know a thing about timing and shift points... its plug and play.

Yup. You can change shift points and other items if you want, but its not required. They are preloaded with 3 easy to use settings.
