person is they say "i always know when you are coming and going"
I always liked the bumber sticker that said "Loud pipes save lives"

Try this file out. It was in another topic on this forum.
I hacked off the muffler on my old '99 PSD w/ diablo programmer... WOW!! sounded like an airplane taking off! and a definate extra kick in the seat of your pants! then again, my nearest neighbors were a few miles away...God I miss that truck...
Wow Kabcpapc, that sounds sweet. I have a stock '02 7.3 backed by a 6 speed thats still on waranty, if I cut the muffler out & installed a straight pipe in it's place is there any need for me to reset anything or have any adjustment or computer reprograming? I don't want to get into chipping or programming changes unless I have to.

Nope. Nothing changes except the truck runs a little better.
I had a 7.3 pass me the other day with a straight pipe and there is one sentence for it, but I would get censored. Don't want that, but man it sounded sweet. WE were cruising about 70. He passed me at about 85.
I want to do this to mine, but since the exhaust is stainless, is there anywhere that you can just order the pipe. I don't want to go to the local muffler shop and have them put one of those cheap aluminum coated thinwalled pipes on it.
