Its finally here!
NFL football starts thank god! My wife absolutely hates this time of year cause the football season starts, so does hockey, and baseball is about to go into the playoffs. Bring on the beers boys(and gals too), and cheer on your favorite teams. GO BRONCOS!!

I have far too many things to do, than to sit in front of the tube watching somebody beat the dog-meat outta some guy that is holding a piece of pigskin.
And lastly. . . it is NOT Sports. It is a BUSINESS. If the players did it for free, then it would be sport.

Would you consider lawn darts a sport then, or maybe they get paid to play to do that also.

Roger that! Who wants to watch a bunch of millionaires try to up their stats so they can "justify" more money? If you want to see sports competition that is played to the edge of the envelope (in other words, "with heart") go to a friday night high school football game. Those kids are killing themselves for bragging rights, not a commercial deal!

Love of the game??? Sure, I love games. But, I just can't sit in front of the tube. . . . (we've already been there, done that.)
Wanna real sport?
Goose hunting.

Deer hunting.
Fishing.
Putting 5 shots into a target and they make one ragged little hole, at 200 yds.
Chasin' girls. Doh! (That was years ago. My wife would kill me!)

Listen, I come from beautiful British Columbia Canada so ya, I've hunted quite a bit and I've shot my fair share of wild game, fished in lakes in mountain valleys, and been at the range and popped off a few shots, and no i would consider it a recreation more than a sport.
You are totally missing my point about the football season starting, Im just happy to say its starting, thats all. Seems like too many guys here have there pants on a little too tight, and cant take a joke when they see one.
