Austin area
How many of us live in the Austin area (within 10 miles or so)? I would be interested in trying to set up a meet Saturday Oct. 22nd...Or just meet at the carshow at the HomeDepot on 1431 & Parmer lane....

I'm between Round Rock and Ceder Park. My brother in law takes his mustang gt there alot and my dad takes his 66 mustang there once in a while. If I have my truck back on the road by then I could stop in.

I can be there! We definitely need to get an Austin or Centex thing going. Neither of my trucks are in show shape yet. Just started paint prep on my 86 and the 74 is just plain ugly but would be glad to check out the other rides. Who is putting on the show?

That one got shut down when OUtback moved in. They didnt like people taking up "their" parking lot. Jackazz's lost potential customers is what they did, they would have been the only buis in the parking lot with a bar! Anyways, the one off of 1431 is the same get together, just relocated.
skinsey is right, it's not a formal event. Just a bunch of good ol boys (and girls) who 'just happen' to show up at the same place around the same time with badazz toys. Dont know about now, but when it was in RR the cops would show up sometime around 10 or 11 or so, walk around and look at the cars, then start asking people to leave.

I was suppose to be taking my R&R the last week of this month and the first week of next, but it got moved up. I'll still have 6 months left when I go back. So I wont be here for that one, but I'll be at the car show sat night! Just look for my newly lifted 84 F150

I went but didnt stay long. Only Ford trucks I noticed was a green 50's ish pickup for sale and a green (I think) mid 90's with a winch. I only got to stay for a few mins before geting a phone call and having to leave. Not too many cars there but there was no shortage of good lookin girls! Best part of the carshow in my opinion!!!

Hard to compete with watching the biggest football game of the month tonight on TV. For those that missed it, you missed a good one. UT finally managed to pull off a "big" game and looked good doing it. Now we just have to spank OU and it's downhill to the National Championship!
Sorry, I got sidetracked there but that is why I missed this show. Will probably try and swing by the next one. Definetly can make the one in October if that is where everyone wants to get together.
