I've heard good things about Harold's salvage yard but I haven't been there yet. It's up North on 183 in a little one-horse town called Briggs about 45 minutes out. Don't even waste your time with the yard on Old Spicewood Springs road off of Loop 360. They don't have much and what they do have, they want WAY too much for it.

I go to the Briggs one quite a bit. They usualy have quite a few 80's plus ford trucks in there. Most of the ones I've seen the engine bay is completely striped. I havent been there for a while though.

Where is that get together held in Oak Hill? I live in pretty Central West Austin so it's about the same distance either way for me (Oak Hill or Round Rock).
