I was just wanting you guys opinions on if the ceramic coated headers are worth the couple hundred dollars extra.
I don't have a show truck, but will be rebuilding the enigne for power and painting alot of things while I have it apart, so is the extra money worth the looks.
Also, they don't turn any kind of nasty color when heated up and cooled down alot do they?
Ceramic coating is well worth the additional cost. The coating dramatically reduces engine bay temperatures associated with running headers with conventional chrome or powder-coat finishes. I don't personally run these headers ONLY because I cheaped out when I bought mine and have regretted the decision ever since. Several of the members here do run ceramic coated headers though and I'm certain you will get similar input from them.
