Hello my vans cruise slowly stoped working. Before it quit competely it was very slugish and would not hold speed. Slowing going up hills and speeding comming down. I have no lights on the dash. I have jumped the brake pressue switch. The van only has 195,000 miles and the cruise is used daily. I cleaned the connection to the servo asembly. Any help?

Do you know that there are 2 switches, the brake master cylinder has a back up cut off switch for the cruise control as the main cut out is on the brake pedal inside. I know about the one outside because it is the switch responsible for all the truck fires, I don't have a clue how the van's differ enough to not have any burning, but I located it on mine.
Found the problem. I removed the cover on the servo and found the drive motor tied up. Found one of the same style on e-bay. It looks like I may have to change the cable.
