Should anyone spot CA's help caravan headed by the CHP for Louisiana, New Orleans and surrounding area’s, their rushing to help with enforcement/medical aid assistance.. They're 100+ officers strong, with 45 Ford Expeditions ‘loaded down’ and now a cruiser or two.. EASY to spot!!! They 'were' rolling at high speed and have lost 3 units at this point just outside the CA border heading into the dessert, with a long way to go.. They had to slow there sprint for the battered state.. Gassers!! Just can’t trust’em.. Shocking sight for the truckers and travelers, (I hate seeing just one come'n up in the mirror!) but if you could keep an eye out, maybe lend a hand if possible, they only have one tech. (may have to transfer their gear and leave the dead unit behind, until it can be towed/hauled) as one of this party is very dear to me, and is going into harms way… I know there's alot of members with 6.0's and trailers out there just look'n for something to haul!! Or, Just Give'm the thumbs up!! ...Thanks.........

awesome. thanks for you and everyone going to help out the poor folks in the disaster area. i think it would be cool to see that rig going down the road. it would be better if it was 100 excursions i know i wont spot them, being that i am in MD, but i wish all of them the best of luck
The "3" breakdowns before even leaving the South CA/Arizona border area 'happened' to all be Chevy Tahoes! Swapped'm out at CHP/Southern Area for CV's.. Guess now they can pick the pace back up I would imagine that the CHP helicopter or plane has snapped a few images of the convoy in route.. May even be on the local news at some point.. But nothing like seeing them rolling up in the rear view!! Can't imagine the job ahead......
And after my weekly Sat. ride out to the CA coast for breakfast, be assured there are still plenty of officers/units to fill their scheduling requirements and beat assignments.. At least here...I didn't notice ANY missing
45 Black and White S/D, Crew, 6.0's would be a real sight, and in all reality, probably a good rig for the task at hand.
