Tilt column update

Tilt column update
Well I finnaly got the tilt into my 77 F100 2x4.The column is from a 78 F350.It all plugged in fine but I have no signal lites either side.But the 4 ways work just fine.Are there some wires that have to be bypassed.Getting ready to pull it out and junk it.Any help before I do this

OK I replaced the fuse now I have power to the blue wire.But it does'nt matter what I do the 4 ways come on but no indicator lite are on in the dash.When I pull the 4 ways out the indicater lites work on the dash.Very PuzzledAre there any wires that have to be changed or could it be the hazard switch

send a pm to docholiday72tx he has all the steps to fix this he helped me with mine there is a few wires that may need to be changed over. i did not have to change any on mine .but ford changed so many things its hard to tell.

Ok thanks I wired in a whole new switch and still the same thing.Goin to give up for today.I can't do much more before it ends up in little parts every where

Now just to add insult to injuriey I took the truck out for a quick run around the block.And now my steering won't return.Im goin to find a big sledge hammer and fix it for good

You know when you let go of the wheel it centers itself.Well I have to bring it back to center or I'll just keep going the way the truck is pointed.Please help before I committ myself.I PM doc and I hav'nt heard back yet
