Pan Gasket
Hello,
anyone know where i can find an oil pan gasket for a 42'-47' flathead v8 with a 59ab motor?

Most any old parts place should have it. JC Whitney, Mac's Antique Auto in NY, Bob Drake, CW Moss and more. Just do a search for them, you should find them online. Also, try your local NAPA, they can probably still get the gasket set for you.

will the pan gasket be the same from 42-47 or is it important what year the truck is?

The gasket set is the same from '35 to '48, no matter car or truck since they used the same engines.
