frame rail bending

i found a good way to straighten bent frame rails . (minor bends and waves) I used my ball joint press (like a super duty sized c-clamp,very heavy) and some heavy steel plate, and put the squeeze on the high and low spots. works great. can do some major repairs if you can reach the right spot .works on the flange and the center sections too . inside or out .also used a socket as a spacer in some places. sure beats the adjustable wrench and hammer. share your tips, because i need help with everything else. also i have a couple of stock 55 rear ends,steering boxs,3 speeds,for parts if anyone needs. in mississippi. johnny

Thanks for the tip, I have to do some straighting on my cross members on my 56. There are so many good tips in these forums on just about everything for our old Fords.
