well there's 36 days until the hockey season starts, who do you think is gonna win it all? the past few months have been crazy! this is going to be an amazing year, there are so many teams that have improved it'll be hard to pick one! but im of course going to go with my all time favorite, the flyers! they picked up one of the best players in the game and a bunch of really good d-men. they've got the size, the speed, and the goaltending to win it all! ive also gotta think that the black hawks are gonna have a good season, who knows maybe they'll actually make the playoffs! well im sure they will, they've done a lot to help their cause.
Well I'd like to hope that the Oilers will win it.....but being realistic, I'll go with Vancouver. They look good on paper this year. Toronto looks good too.
Pittsburgh should have a good shot at it also. Not only did they win the draft lottery and get Sidney Crosby, but added players like Gonchar, LeClaire, Thibault, Recchi, Palffy, Roy, and Poapst. Add Lemieux and cast to the mix and I got a feeling I'll be saying, "Lord Stanley, Lord Stanley......Bring me the brandy!"
Ditto. It's like with NBA playoff games starting at 10PM....you don't know what the hoopla is about if you don't know where to find the games.....striking doesn't help, either.
NHL losing a contract with ESPN to get shoved onto the OLN = NOT GOOD!

yeah but with so many free agents a lot of teams that werent so good picked up a lot of good players. like chicago and pittsburg, and i know there's more. that will make for more intense games and more intense rivalries. which will hopefully lead to more fans comin back to the game!
