Glass walkway over the Grand Canyon

Anyone want to see the Grand Canyon from a glass walkway. Not for me. I have trouble with glass walled elevators, but not with aitplanes. Just can't imagine looking down between my feet and seeing ground 4000 ft below.

That's COOL! If I ever make it back out west...might just have to check it out in person.

I find that statement way bogus ... designed to hold the weight of a 36000 ton battleship, yea right.

I think it would be cool but how easy would it be to see through it with dirty shoes walking over it.

I don't think so.I can barly handle just a 2 ft by 2 ft area of glass looking down at people below at a water park. And just think of those who all the sudden become to afraid to move along.I don't mind heights,as long as its a roller coaster.Don't stay high for very long.

$25.00 for the privilage of that?

Save your money.

I'll tie a rope around your waist, push you over the edge, reel you up, all for the low price of $15.00; depending upon weight.

If the rope breaks, sue me on your way down.

Why not? I'll hold your ankles while you reach under with a squeegee and clean it. Hey, I won't let you drop. Honest.

I think it's a pretty cool idea myself I question their numbers, however.... both the price and the allowable loading. If it is engineered and built correctly, the only thing that should keep anybody from going out there would be their fear of heights and possibly the price tag.....but then again, that must be the engineer in me talking It's just one big cantilever beam with a glass bottom

I'd be the one at the farthest point from land, jumping up and down, laughing maniacally.

But $25? Only if my family and I could camp on it overnight.

To be honest, for a little more money, you can take one of the aerial tour's and really get the full view- highly reccomended!

Expensive, but it's way awesome. I'd do it if I had the opportunity. That'd be way sweet if they extended it over the mouth of the canyon so you could switch sides.
