Need to replace drivers side mirror.
I have a 1996 XLT Supercab 4X4 that I need to replace the drivers side mirror on. Has anyone done this? Any tricks I should know about?

WHAT DID YOU DO 
(sorry, had to... been there done that)
Call around a few junkyards, and see what you can scrounge up... IF AND ONLY IF all else fails, go to a dealer... around 200 for a mirror from a 04 grand prix, with the "hard to match" silver paint...

You have to take off the door panel and pull back the moisture barrier up in the corner where the mirror is mounted to the door. There's either two or three nuts holding it on.
