Colors and Personalities

If you had the opportunity to paint your favorite room where you live, what color(s) would you paint it to reflect (describe) your personality?

Same color it is now, creamy off-white. I like things bright and clean looking.

Dark green, with a mural of the deep forest and a giant elk and a pheasant in a field taking off.

Mmmm...

Funny.

Though, you could use Rhino coat in the bathroom and when cleaning needed, just hose it down (better have a floor drain ).

My favorite colors for a room would be a deep dark blue or red or both.

Any deep colors. I like dark colors. I like the Victorian Era colors.

I did paint one of my bathrooms a deep red on the upper half and a deep blue on the lower half, with an off white trim.

Got a few compliments on that one.

Listen to him.. one of my bathrooms

J/k - Really though, I like dark colors dramatic colors such as red. I have been given free reign on my bedroom so I've done a few things to it. I have a "leather wall" which is unique to say the least. I took a roll of kraft paper and tore it into a bunch of random shapes at least 18" long and used wallpaper glue and rolled it on the paper then put it on the wall. It went by really fast. Then I stained the wall with wood stain and a roller. Just have to be sure not to get it really wet, and lightly and quickly roll over the paper once on the wall (and with the glue dried) and be sure there aren't any drips. Let this dry for a day, and close off the room but have it ventilated.. if it's a bedroom, close the door and open the window in there and have on a fan. After it's dried I took some clear polyurethane and rolled it on the wall. Let dry for another day and it was all good! I'll post some pics of it sometime.

But now I'm thinking about making the other walls a two tone, truck scheme. Such as the HD Harley Davidson F-250. But I haven't really decided on this. I have built in cabinetry that is being painted a darkish red, and I'm thinking about doing the walls black on top with the same red on the bottom. I am also putting in a bubble aquarium built into my wall (there used to be a built in ironing board, so I'm utilizing that space). Ohh and can't forget the in-wall speakers (Sony 5.25" car speakers, only have them because of the red, and my cousin gave them to me). Ohh and the ceiling has been redone as well with some tile type covering and it's painted a pottery type of orange/red.

RomerB2, what you're doing sounds good.

Yes, one of my bathrooms; I have 6 bathrooms; if you include the 4 corners of my yard. Just 2 small ones.

Definitely post some pics. Sounds interesting.

The other 2 walls in the Harley Davidson F250 two-tone sounds cool.

Well I was just thinking that it would look really cool with that type of two tone, and having the leather look to it as well. My bed is going to have a "custom" lol quilt made for it. My grandma makes quilts that look just awesome, and I'm thinking about having the quilt have leather in it and stuff.. not quite sure yet. Her quilts aren't the traditional style either, she makes some really nice "modern" looking quilts as well. Back in 2000 she made everybody that's part of the family a quilt. We'll just say that is all she did every single day from September to December 20th. There were 37 quilts that she made, and no two were even close to looking the same.
