1964-1966 are same beds. No patches available from aftermarket producers. Can maybe get your local sheetmetal shop to bend up some of the corner plates and other depending on skill level...
What years are the same body style as the 1963 Custom Cab Styleside? I need a new bed and I'm having trouble finding patches and/or a good bed for it.

what about taking panels from a 67-72 longbed and cuttin them down to fit will that work? ive got to do the same to truck bed and i had thought about tryin that, anyone know anything about that
mikecarson is correct. Your bed doesn't match the lines of the cab too well, right? Has a narrow tailgate? Sort of "refrigerator" style latches? (old style frig)
I think you can get a later 64-66 bed to bolt on there. That would be my suggestion. But perhaps you like the old look. Those older beds are hard to come by, as far as I know.
You can also go the permenant route and install 1/8" flat steel or diamond plate. It will save a lot of aggrivations of trying to find something that might work. I have to do the same thing when I get home. My bed floor has a bunch of pin holes in it that need to be replaced. I am going to pull the bed off and carefully cut out the whole floor except for an inch strip along the edges. I want to have something to weld to. Not to mention the added weight will help a lot with traction issues or frame flex.

I agree with cd, the easiest/ best way out of the problem is to find & use a 64-66 style side bed. Although it may not be what came on your 63 originally,as mike states, it will fit the body lines & windsplits of 61 through 66 F series trucks, except as cs65 noted the integral bed (aka uni body version which is a stand alone bed side panel in all cases).
Of course if you're doing a "Concours D'elegance" restoration for an AACA or Pebble Beach show than you're stuck with the bed Mike Carson mentioned. But for a sensible, easy qwik solution, go for a 64-66 Style side. 67 doesn't match the cab side profile or rear wheel opening either and really look weird (IMHO) altho' they will virtually bolt on.
