I think I speak for the rest of us when I say................shut up!

Just kidding, I'm just jealous because I havent accomplished much over the last couple of months. I did, however, make a few babysteps. I managed to bend up a set of transmission cooler lines and fabricate radiator hoses last weekend but then life happened to me this weekend and I didn't even get a chance to go into the garage.

Glad to hear that someone made some progress, can't wait to see the finished truck!!

Bobby

Pulled a running board off to repair a paint chip last week. Still off! Took some extra parts to a swap meet in Springfield, Missouri this weekend. Didn't sell much but ended up buying a NICE pair of 56 doors for my BW project. Next I need to get this truck sold so I have some funds for the BW project.

Well I have been working on the 52 very aggresively. In 9 months I've gone from shell to driver. Last night we made our maiden voyage out of the neighborhood. We (wife and I) and my buddy w/ a 56 went 10 miles up the road to the local Sunday cruise. Lets just says that even without paint (and it never will have) the 52 had a nice crowd around it most of the time. And I was grinnin ear to ear! Most of you have seen my gallery but if not check it out.

Later,Bill

Worked on the radiator support and electric fan mounts on Sat. Removed the major cootiebobbed mounts and built new ones. Painted the smoothed latch panel. Sun worked on getting the Miata ready to go to our national championships so nothing more was accomplished on the panel.

No real progress, work has been horrible for the last month, but I was at least able to get some parts ordered. They'll be waiting on the shelf when I've got some time.

Got my Smoothie II wheels on. Pulled the old wood and strips out of the bed and getting ready to put new oak planks in. About 3 weeks I really messed up my right knee jumping into the pool. With knee supports, etc. It's been difficult to get anything done without putting stress on the knee. Leaving for Hawaii with the wife and kids on Thursday for 5 days. Then the new headliner goes in when I get back.

4 speed- Looks like you won the bid? Congratulations.

Gotten VERY little done this summer.

Said I wasn’t doing anything, because I had to pay down what I’d done to it last year while unemployed, but around early August finally couldn’t allow it to sit any longer…..

Got all the pulleys on the engine (after I swapped the heads from one side to the other), pulled out the rear end and remounted it below the springs (because it was sitting lower at the rear than the front), waiting for lowering shackles to finish it off…..Have lower shock mounts on order, will then run brake and fuel lines. Got the gas tank and sending unit in her about a week ago – 85-92 Ch*v Van. (Very happy with the tank installation). Modified the frame on the front passenger side to clear the header. Got that Heidt adjustable power steering valve on order as well.

It was way too darned hot here June and July to work on anything outside and a lot of time has gone to my son’s first money pit – 78 El Camino…Doing the floors, carpeting and seat upholstery on that , this weekend….Did the headliner and weatherstripping a few weeks ago…..

Been going to cruise nights a lot with either the neighbour and his 66 or my son and his El Camino. Hurts like heck knowing I’m another 2 to 3 yrs from taking Euphemia to one…

Later,
