Water pump interchange

Hey, I was wondering if water pump part number: C9VZ.8501.A would work on my truck, which has a 1986 460 in it. Thanks. By the way, the water pump in question is for a 1969 LTD,Country Squire 429 engine,and 1968-1969 Town Car with the 460 engine. Thanks

I did the leg work for you.... it wasn't too hard. I just went to http://www.partsamerica.com They don't list a town car as bieng offered so I went with the Continental. Based on these part numbers it should be the same!

I checked and the pump will bolt on the front of your trucks engine but the pulleys won't line up with the rest of your trucks pulleys. So no it will not work
