Edelbrock 1490
I'm installing an Edelbrock intake and carburetor on a 1984 F-150 with a 302 and an automatic transmission with a kickdown rod. According to the instructions I'm supposed to use the EDL-1490 throttle adapter plate...I can't figure that thing out for the life of me...how is it supposed to be installed? Any help is greatly appreciated.

the 1490 is a throttle cable bracket for small block Fords from Edelbrock. You don't really need it but it is a special bracket to help mount the throttle cable and kick down bracket. Just a way to get you to spend more money.
