I have a 1999 ford F-150 that dies when it itles the code that comes up for it is PO340 WHat I am looking for is all the codes for engine 4.2 1999. I have replaced the cam sensor shaft but the code is camsensor cuit PO340 and I dont know the codes for that. Now when I reset it the check engine light goes off, but the minute I shut it off, and turn it back on it appears again. It is driving me crazy, checked all the wiring. I am at a lost for words and need major help please!! Any and all help would be appreciated.

seems like a loonnggg time back I remember something about a key working its way loose and allowing a gear to slip. Maybe the cam gear? I just can't remember the details.
Maybe someone else will.
