2 part question column shifter
im new to this site thanks to all who make it great ..
1 how do i look up like minded questions to avoid asking something that has already been asked ??
2 i bought a basket case 69 the column shifter is totally worn out ... i like the old time feel so really dont want to go the floor shifter route ... how in volved is it to rebuild the colum and who is a good suplier for these parts ???

are you sure the column shifter is really wore out, or just out of adjustment? Most of the time the only thing wrong with the column shifter is that it just needs to bee adjusted right, which is time consuming.

i found some helpfull tips on adjustment that seemed to help .. wont know for shure tell it comes down off the blocks ..... witch at this rate might be post 2050 lol thanks to those who replied russ
