Engine vibrations at idle
My 79 has been giving me fits with a rough vibration at idle. I've double checked ignition and vacum 17lbs steady, but still very rough till about 2000 rpm's. I've changed balancer (used) and still nothing I need some helpful input. Thanx Dan

Engine vibrations at idle
For a stock motor, 17 is kinda low. Should be around 20. Could be a vacuum leak, or a carb. problem. Sounds like it's running lean and the throttle plate is open kinda far to keep it running. That would explain the low vacuum. My 460 with an oversized cam has 18" and it had about 20.5" with the stock cam.
