while camping this weekend we had some unexpected visiters come through.
a cow moose and two calfs made there selfs at home, the calfs where up the hill in the trees buy the time i got my camera but mama was just hanging out...
That's so cool!
Big, aren't they?
Once I was driving at dusk on a deserted dirt road, further north in NH. There was a bull moose on the side of the road. He was a good boy because he kept on eating as I slowly drove past, gawking at him.
When i lived in Anchorage, i had them walking through my yard, eating my mom's vegitables (Sp). Came face to face with a couple of them, on occasion while cycling aroung town and in the country.
I ran into a few while skiing through the woods, and when I was living in Augusta, ME, two blocks from the state capital, one of my neighbors had a young moose show up in his back yard.
At first I thought this was all about Arctic Cat's current snowmobile giveaway.
Go to www.mooseontherun.com, download the videos and laugh. Its pretty funny stuff.
All I have to say about that is that moose clearly arent smart if they try to steal a couple of Arctic Cats.
