How skinny?

OK, this is for the guys. This has been bugging me for some time and I was curious to get answers from a larger group of guys than I personally know. It seems that Hollywood decided some time ago that ultraskinny = beautiful. I completely disagree, I think many of these women are forced to look like they have eating disorders in order to keep their jobs. Most super models are a good example. Most of my friends agree that most of the high profile models and some actresses these days are unbelievably skinny and are not 'hot'. I'm wondering how many guys feel that anorexic looking is the way to go with women; do the majority of men really think this is hot?

*My theory is that Hollywood is actually run by a small group of middle aged women who were picked on in high school due to their weight and this causes the current trend of super skinny.

*Note - that was a joke

Make my next one athletic, please! A little overweight is fine, if it ain't way over.
But definitely not stick-thin and sickly.

A body is intended to have a certain amount of fat on it, it's healthy

You can blame this on Twiggy( for you those old enough to remember her). Most of these models do look like they need a few extra pounds here and there. The only ribs I like to see are on my plate. I know Latin men prefer their women a bit chunky. So does most of the world. More push to the cush. The sad thing is that this affects alot of young girls; leading to eating disorders. You can also blame the modeling agencies. I guess to each his own.

Those ultra skinny freaks make me sick, I prefer a woman to look healthy not starved. They may have a pretty face but the "A carpenters dream" bodies look funny. Neck bones sticking out, tiny legs, no back side, tiny arms, look like you would break them if you hugged them.

Friend at work left his wife for a super skinny girl, makes me ill when I look at her. Plus with her super short hair cut she looks like a teenage boy.

On a side note, the gigantic, behemoth women are just as bad.

i like a girl that you can't see the ribs on, don't look like a twig that if the wind blew, they would fly away, and if the neck is long and skinny, no, plus they have to have a littl on the backside. They have to have at least a little bit of meat on the bones, decent sized legs. possibly a little overweight. This little thin girls make me think that if i touched them, they might break(of course, i'm not the smallest guy in the world, 6'2 250). My gf now is about perfect.

A woman definitely needs a womanly shape to her. Super skinny doesn't do it for me, nor for anyone else I know. As someone else on here said, I like them thin, but not skinny.

It used to be said. . . . "Thin is in, but, fat is where it's at."

Neither for me, thanks. It drives me nuts that my own two daughters feel that they are fat. Neither one is. Both dance, competitively.
So-called 'fashion experts' and modeling agencies can kiss my foot. (I'll step in mud, first.)

Skin and bones is NOT healthy. Neither is obesity.
These 'top models' walk like horses. Not 'attractive' at all.
Time for them to 'tie on the feedbag.'

Greywolf is absolutely correct. "A body is intended to have a certain amount of fat on it, it's healthy."

And for remembering Twiggy. . . . .Sierraben. . . . Yes, I do. She was a toothpick!!

I like a little meat on the bones and some "junk in the trunk". I have an affinity for curves, both on ladies and on cars.

Skinny girls, I just wanna take them and feed them some good ol southern biscuits and gravy, or some chicken and pastry, let's fill them out a little. I made myself hungry...Honey, whats for dinner...
