I just bought a '95 F-350 CC PSD with an auto. It has 144k and will be delivered later this month. What kind of fuel economy can I expect around town and on the highway at 70 MPH or so?

A lot depends on how big your right foot is. A truck your size won't do very well, I would guess around 15-17 if you stay below 70. Go over that and you end up with 13. Just a guess.
I got a 96 250 2wd and if I keep my foot outta the accelerator, stay under 2000 rpm I am getting 18+. At almost 3 per gallon I tend to drive like a grandpa. Not sure of the rear gears but I know its not a 4.10 I am thinking either a 3.55 or 3.73.
Good luck
i have a 95 f-250 with auto and 3.55 gears and if i keep it 65 or under i can get 17 mpg. before that i when i was running 70 and 75 was getting 14 and 13 mpg.
I have a 97, 4x4,auto, 4.10 gears. Have never gotten better than 17 hwy, 13 city. I try real hard to not stand on it, but everytime I mod something, my foot seems to gain a pound or two.
My 95 cc 350 long bed with 224000 miles before I parked it for sale was averaging 19-20mpg 75 and under with 3:55 gears ...the worse I ever did was 16 running 80 and up, one tank on interstate........
I bought an 02 4x4 cc. hate to get rid of it but can't afford to keep both....I wish new truck got mileage old truck gets, I only average 16 with 02...........
