Someone please help! Bought my 16 yr old son a 1963 F-100, but I'm having no luck finding out what motor it is. Few things we know is it has a cross over pipe,a set of points for a 1956 292 distributer, the oil filter that was in it was for a 332, bigger than the ones for a 292. engine block #'s are: drivers side above the oil filter EDB 6015 E or F. Passenger side 8B M, or 88 M.
I know this has been asked alot in the past, but would sombody please help us?
Also the truck is in good shape. Had to put a coil on it, spark plugs, plug wirers, change the oil, and redo the front brakes. Last night he drove it up and down the driveway and only stalled it 3 or 4 times. I thought that was pretty good considering he has never drove a clutch.
Thanks to anyone who has info!!!
