Need Trans Mount

Hey all...

Im in the process of restoring my 78 f-250 supercab 4x4 ... Im ready to toss the engine/tranny/trans back in to the truck and I hit a problem...

I went to a few local suppliers and They dont seem to have the trans mount I need for my rig... The all had the small mount that has the v on the bottom.. but none had the one that is on my truck ... My mount has two bolt holes for the tranny side... and four holes on the crossmember side... And a small bar that bolts between the two transmission bolts....

Any ideas...

lmc doesnt list it... npd either ... jbg doesnt seem to have it...

I can sand blast the old one ... but Id rather just buy a new one...

I think that is a spacer/adapter and the mount bolts to that.

This is a single mount... bolts directly to the tranny and then to the crossmember...

Sounds like a stock two piece would fit in place of this thing that your truck has now. The stock mount (2 piece mount) has 4 bolt holes on the bottom to bolt to the crossmember ,witch is a solid steel plate, then the transmission mount has two bolts to trans with rubber mount that one long bolt goes through to connect the two together. These part's are still available at your local part's store. -Ed
