177 V6

Does anyone know or have a book that explains how to rebuild this 177 2.9L V6. I've seen a book for small-block Fords but it doesn't include the 177. Thanks for your help.

I havent seen many books that help with the 177. I used the haynes book for the ranger/bronco II it covers most of the basic stuff and has pretty decent step by step on taking it apart. i just wish someone would make a book just focused on the engine.

Have you tried locating a copy of Sven Pruett's book How to Build and Modify Ford 60 degree V6's.

It is hard to find but worth it if you happen to find it. Amonzon has one every now and then for around $40.00. I screwed up and sold the one I had after I built my 2.8 for my 84 ranger.
