I just bought an 82 F150 4x4 with a bad 351W, my problem is that I am going to replace it with an 87 302HO motor that I had in my Mustang II, I have the 50oz imbalance fluid dampner but don't have the tooth count for the 50oz imbalance flexplate I need to buy. Does anyone out there have the correct tooth count for this flywheel? I think it probably is the 164 with the 11 1/2 in. converter pattern but am not sure and since I only have 2 days to get this done in by the time I get the old one out it will be too late to order the new one.

i hope you plan on changing a few things on that 302 to move your rig better. if you built that motor for a car originally its gonna make power up hi in the rpm range which for a heavy 4x4 isnt good combo. so you may need to swap to a different cam, intake and carb depending on what you have. might give the specs of the motor.
