Keyless Entry

This is just a little complaint, or maybe it is a problem. I used to have a 2000 ranger with keyless entry and you could lock and unlock that truck from a mile away it seemed. Now I have an 03' F-150 and from day one it just doesn't seem to work as good. I've checked the batteries in both key chains and you can sometimes be even 10 feet from the truck and you have to swing your arm around for it to finally unlock. I just though different truck so different characteristics. Any thoughs on if there is a sensor eye or antenna the needs to be adjusted or is this just the F-150.

somethings not right... my 02 S'Crew keyless works from at least 50' away (barring no obstructions)

Poss bad security module located inside cab under dash in center- replaced one for same prob under 3/36 warranty.

Ford has both long range and short range transmitters, check your ford dealership they can sell you a long range transmitter. Plan to psend some $$$.

I lived with this for about 3 years now so instead of spending money or time tring to figure it out I guess I can just live with it. Thanks for all the input, but like I said it was just a little complaint!
