stereo wiring diagram
I have a stereo out of a 96 mustang that I would like to use out back on the patio. Anyone have a wiring diagram? I don't have any of the plugs so I'm trying to figure out where to connect power, ground and the speakers. Also what impedance on the speakers ie 4 ohm front and 10 ohm rear?

I think if you described the unit better, it might help people better help you. Is it a Cassette, CD, Dual, Mach...etc.?

The wiring codes are the same practically with all Ford Stereos.
ie: Light blue/red stripe wire for dial light.

Thanks for some really great links guys! I think I may be screwed though as it appears the unit I have uses a seperate amplifier. Of course I could dig out an old booster/equalizer out of the attic. HMMMM, getting too complicated.

12v deep cycle. It's for a BBQ island in the back yard. Also have DC/AC converter to run a rotisserie, TV etc.
You would think with all the old stereo stuff I have squirled away I'd find one good sterio head!
