Duals or singles?

well im buying an exhaust. i just want to see what you all prefer. stacks are not an option. either duals or a single exit. going to be a MBRP 4'' aluminized turbo back.

I voted for single because duals are 100% looks. Unless you have unlimited funds, you could take the money you saved from buying a single and spend it on some other mods ...just my .02

Good luck on your decision..!

That's not entirely accurate. I bought the duals largely because of the looks, but they did lower my EGT's somewhat and they sound a ton better than any single. Easily worth the price difference to me, especially when you consider that you can get an aluminized dual system for less money than some of the high end singles.

Preach on Cookie!! To me, if it ain't semetrical it bugs the crap out of me. You got a sticker on one side, ya gotta have it on the other. Just my opinion.

i vote single. unless they are stacks but that not what your looking for. on a turbo model duals will never be true duals. but i have never heard how duals sound so maybe they are good but i have single side exit on my truck ( only have to clean one wheel that way)

tjbeggs, I love your side exit pipe..that's exactly what I want to do...Do you have any problems with the extra heat on that tire?

Yes sir. I replaced my 4" straight pipe with 4" through the muffler duals and dropped about 50 degrees max. Not a substantial difference to be sure, but enough that I noticed it immediately.

I vote for duals, simply because it would be a bit more personalized than most, and that is usually the goal, away from stock to personalized super trucks
