2 or 4 WD?? I have a couple of 77 short boxes with 460's and there 4WD. Both have C-6's with Camper Special 4 core radiator's (5 gallon's of coolant) and have many options too. I have just weighed one of them and it weighed 5020 lbs. I removed the rear step bumper, tail gate one of the batteries and with very low fuel level (nearly empty) it weighed 4680 lbs. Thanks for the help. I'm thinking of getting a 73-74 short bed an making a fast street truck out of it. I want it to be light if possible. I'm going to have about a 600 cube big block with a turbocharger and have it conerted to AWD (not 4wd) to help it get traction which it will need with street tires.
